Gas Fireplace Service

To keep your fireplace functioning properly, the National Fireplace Institute and nearly all manufacturers require their product to be serviced on an annual basis to keep the warranty valid.  The cost of our safety inspection and maintenance is $247 and includes the following:

• Removal of logs and accessories for inspection on tarp
• Vacuum clean logs
• Vacuum clean fireplace to remove dirt, dust, and cobwebs
• Clean firescreen
• Clean fire-rated glass doors
• Inspect and clean burner assembly
• Inspect and clean pilot assembly
• Inspect and clean thermocouple
• Inspect and clean thermopile
• Inspect and clean sparker module

• Replace sand, embers, and vermiculite as appropriate
• Inspect for carbon monoxide infiltration into living area
• Check for gas leaks
  
• Check gas pressures
• Check and replace as appropriate batteries in remote control and receiver
• Inspect damper and damper clamp
• Explain pilot lighting procedure, fireplace, and remote control operation
  
• Cycle unit on and off to ensure proper operation
  
• Inspect electrical wiring
